We’ve all heard the phrase before. “You can’t please everyone.” And yet no matter how many times we hear it, we still try. It could be in your family, trying to make sure everyone gets equal attention around the holidays. Also in your business, especially if you’re trying to serve everyone and not your niche market. It could even be internally. Perhaps you don’t prioritize and you try to go all-in on every possible thing you do. The outcomes are all the same. Your efficiency and quality diminishes, and you get burnt out or exhausted. If this frequently happens to you, STOP. Reverse engineer the intended outcome, find out what it takes to get there, and then decide if it’s even worth it. If you try to please everyone, you won’t please anyone, including yourself!
